In 2004 we had our first 'Peregrine Watch'. Telescopes were trained on a Peregrine Falcon nest in the cliffs above the Upper Lake in Glendalough. Three chicks were in the nest. They were nearly fully grown and could be seen moving around and stretching their wings. Unfortunately the adults didn't return to nest in 2005 but we hope they will in 2006 and we will add a Peregrine Watch to the summer programme.
