Seefin passage tomb

Seefin Passage Tomb

This ancient tomb is one of the most dramatic archaeological remains in the Park. It is located on the top of Seefin Mountain at an altitude of 621 metres at the northern boundary of the Park. It dates back to the Stone Age when Irelands first farmers built many of these megalithic (big-stone) tombs across the country.
